A very exciting week

I've been very busy these last couple weeks with trying to get birthday stuff ready for 4 different birthdays this week, and getting the house closer and closer to being decorated and set up just how I want to do it.

This week on top of my everyday normal hussle add 4 birthdays to on top. Today the 25 is my brother in laws 20th birthday. Exciting for him to be out of his teenage years, but I personally think he would rather just jump to his 21st birthday which is next year. Just like any other 20 year old, the next birthday is the big one where you are legal to do all that is legal. KYLE! Although Kyle has a disability, he is still just like every other 20 year guy at heart and mind. Next year on this date we will all be in Las Vegas to celebrate his turning 21 but what makes it a little more special is that my husband will be turning the three oh!! just two days after Kyle's 21st, so we plan to make it a family trip. Well minus the boys most likely. Can't wait for him to see his present because he is going to be very excited about it I'm sure.

This brings me to the second birthday of the week, my husband's. On the 27th my husband will be turning 29. I can't believe I just wrote that! It truly is amazing how time flies. Here is one up to hubs for his birthday. He has to wait just a little longer for his present from the boys, in fact maybe he should have to wait a couple extra days since he got his mom and dad to give him their present 5 days early. HUBS

To the third birthday this week; the 28th is yet another birthday, my daddy's. My dad's birthday falls in line with my hubs and brother in law's birthday and we normally go bowling or game night or such for him and my hubs this year they went snowmobiling for a couple days. Last year, my dad almost got the best gift ever on his birthday. I woke my dad with a phone call saying, "how about a grandson for you birthday." Daddy! The pic sums up my dad for the winter time/ snow season.

The fourth birthday is MASON'S!!! Saturday the 29th Mason will be turning 1. I can't believe it has been a year already. It seems like I just got out of the hospital with him wrapped up and sweet and innocent. Now he is just a crawling, into everything, taking down his brother, head butting, monster Mason! With the sweetest smile of course.

Seahawks

This year for Christmas, I surprised hubs with tickets to the Seahawks vs. Rams, which is the best game of the season because depending on the results whether team is going to the NFL Playoffs in route to SUPER BOWL! I have never been to a Seahawk's game, but I have watch many games on TV. Hubs has been to many games over the years, and one time, box tickets.

On Sunday, January 2, 2011 we headed north on I-5. Stopping in Longview to drop our boys off with my mom and sister so they can sit for the day. We stopped and grab some breakfast for my hubs on the go. While waiting for his food, he went digging through our bags and found this. Another Christmas gift, that I wish I wouldn't have bought because it's so ugly.

Locked out of the car, here. Kinda creepy, reminds me of Jason from Friday the 13th.

Back on I-5 headed north to Seattle. My hubs slept most of the way.

Just north of Fife we stopped at the rest stop, in full Seahawk gear. When we got back in the car, hubs insisted on wearing the mask again.

Finally to Seattle,

The welcoming committee
First stop, where else other then the first Starbucks.
Then across the street to...

Hubs had never been to the Market before and I have once. We have never been to Seattle together so new adventure for us.  It was a lot of fun to just walk around us two and not have boys to push or chase after. Although we missed them the second they were out of our arms.
We were a little disappointed that the fishermen were already closed up for the year. Yet, we still had a wonderful time walking through the crowd, looking at many different craft booths, fresh fruits and veggies, not to mention the smell of seafood everywhere. I'm allergic to seafood so that was not to pleasant for me. But I did marvel at the way the had crab stacked, shrimp cocktails just waiting to be bought and ate by the crowd. I found these cute little name bracelets that I really wanted, but we kept walking with such a big line and then forgot to go back and get before we got to the stadium.
One thing that we couldn't walk away from was The Confectional. Don't know what that is? It's a wonderful little cheesecake store, that had so many choices we didn't know what to get until.....we saw the peanut butter and chocolate. Both agreeing we bought just one, (trying to stick to the diet) and shares a yummy yum cheese cake. No it wasn't a full pie size. Perfect size to share. Confectional offers cheese cakes, and cheese cake truffles. Looking forward to going back.

Once we got the Quest field it was amazing. So large, surrounded by old and new, large and small buildings. But the one thing that really stood out was the excitement, and love for the Seahawks. The Blue Thunder group played out side on the sidewalk. They were amazing to watch play, full of fun, dancing, doing tricks. The sun was setting on the bay once we walked up the four ramps to our seats.  The game was unbelievable, I can't believe I finally got to go and them winning is a bonus. Just wish I would have bought the pre-sale playoff tickets when I had the chance, Seahawks were home, and we took out last years Superbowl Champs. WHAT NOW?!

Missing my blog.

This week as been a little CRAZY...

Trying to catch up on sleep from last weekend, and fight the light sniffels I picked up while sitting out side at the Seahawk game last Sunday. I have many pics and fun things to talk about from last weekend and I can't wait to sit down and write it out. But right now I just picked up the pleasure of being able to help through a baby shower for a cousin in-law, on top of trying to plan Mason's first birthday at the end of the month. There is not much to plan for a 1st birthday other then food, and maybe an activity for the kids to play. Trying to keep it low key will be hard since both our families are big. Maybe two different parties will be in store. The shower gives me joy, since I love to plan parties, weddings, and more.

Back to the shower planning I go, but I will blog about my first Seahawk game soon. I can't wait to share.

New Years Resolutions

With the clock striking midnight just 55 minutes ago, I find myself where else but here in front of my computer while my hubby and his cousin sit just below me downstairs killing the other team online threw the 360...where is that ring of death when you need it? Just play, I really don't mind it tonight since we are just hanging out in tonight while all the little ones sleep safe and sound in their beds and a roommate for Carter tonight.

I've never been one for the resolution in past years, but this year I have many that I believe will be easy that could turn tedious a times and other times might be exciting.

Many resolutions have be floating threw my mind but just a few have really stayed around and I think it must be a sign that these are the ones for the 2011 year.

First: NO more trauma or drama.
I'm a very simple person, don't need or like a lot of attention and very content in my "bubble" of life. I don't care for drama and don't have any. People that bring drama around I don't hang out with or talk to much.

Simple is best.

Unfortunately, God had other plans for me 2010. With a horrible wreck and ended much better then what could have been, and feel so blessed that my guardian  angels are with me to protect me and my boys.

Then teenage girls thinking that it was okay to come on to school property and endanger others. Little did they expect a cheer coach to be able to kick some ass and take one out. Only if those girls knew that I grew up fighting with my older brothers and sister, not to mention cousin and their friends and also a father who is now a retired custody officer. Nightly beat down along with training in how and not how to hit, hold my arms, and stand to achieve as much power and strength behind a punch. Then on top of all that, MY MOM'S ATTITUDE. (maybe it's a blessing I have not had a daughter) (yet) And top it with the love and compassion for those who are around me and for those I am over. When my dad and step-mom got married she told me that I would never get into trouble for fighting as long as I didn't throw that first punch, but after the other person threw it, take them out. She was a cop too. Gotta love it!

Second: Is the weight.
At the end of January 2010, I was blessed with my second healthy baby boy, via c-section again. I was able to push this time; but his head just got stuck. The labor went much better this time around and it being my second, I knew what to expect. My concern was getting rid of the baby weight asap and not my recovery. I didn't take it easy causing my incision to reopen not once but twice.  Stupid, right? I know. Once it finally healed and I was able to start working out, keeping in low and safe, I was in the wreck just weeks after. To that I am thank that my seat belt was not on still since I had already gotten out of my car and re-entered, because God only knows if it would have been able to with stand the impact. Reason why after a c-section women are not supposed to be in a car for two weeks if they can avoid it.

Third: Being a more efficient mom, wife, coach and individual.
I want to use my time more wisely around the house, with my boys, and husband. And help my cheerleaders become not just a better cheerleader but help them be better young women physically (cheer wise) and mentally.

I want to finally sit down and build inventory and finish setting up my esty shop (don't know etsy? Check out an old classmates shop at www.esty.com/shop/betweenthelines ) And maybe a booth at the farmers market.

On the mom aspect, I want to keep my house cleaner (as possible with three boy, two mine and the hubs) make sure the days I work late, I have dinner ready for the hubs to just warm or pop in the oven  for him and the boys since he can not cook more then top roman or chicken nuggets. Get a freezer for the garage and keep homemade meals frozen to pop in the oven. Spend more time on the boys and not on everything I have in a day to do. Make sure Carter is more then ready and on track for preschool next year beyond what he is learning in preschool this year.

A better wife to my husband who works very hard in less then ideal condition in a horrible place to provide for us, which I'm so blessed he does so that I may be at home with the boys all day and that my work is more pleasure then a must. Make sure he has lunch and coffee EVERYDAY! Like I used to do.
For me, read more and keep my goals in sight so that I might feel like a better person for accomplishing goals. Keep school in far sights as well so that I don't lose my dream and finish my degree.

And last, my blog. Just starting to get the hang of it and would like to learn more. I enjoy writing but never was very good at it unless it was school papers, so this is now a goal of mine to be a better blog, and dream of having more followers then just one, THANKS CASSIE YOU ARE GREAT AND INSPIRATION! Tried to set up one for my mom; she didn't get it.

Well, I think I've written enough for this blog. Probably lost my one follower in the first paragraph.
